Job Van Uitert, G-Drive Racing’s new recruit

Russian team G-Drive Racing has signed Dutch driver Job Van Uitert for the European Le Mans Series and the 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps, the 7th round of the 2018-19 FIA World Endurance Championship Super Season. He shares the wheel with Roman Rusinov and Jean-Eric Vergne. G-Drive also hopes to take part in the 24 Hours of Le Mans again this year.

Job Van Uitert drove a Ligier LMP3 in the European Le Mans Series and the Michelin Le Mans Cup with RLR Motorsport last year. This season, the 20-year-old will be at the wheel of the Oreca 07-Gibson for the European Le Mans Series and the 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps, the 7th round of the 2018-19 FIA World Endurance Championship Super Season. He shares the wheel with Roman Rusinov and Jean-Eric Vergne.

G-Drive is hoping to be on the grid of the 87th annual 24 Hours of Le Mans on 15 June this year. The entry list for the world-famous French endurance race will be finalised in two stages: a list of fifty names will be announced on 2019 February 2019 and the remaining ten entrants and the reserve list will be made public on 1 March 2019. The grid will therefore be complete.
