After two appearances in the old LM GT1 class in the Corvette of Luc Alphand Aventures, Julien Jousse will prepare for the Test Day in his first 24 Hours of Le Mans driving a prototype.
The third man in the Pescarolo Team alongside Emmanuel Collard and Christophe Tinseau; Julien Jousse celebrated his arrival in prototypes with a victory at the 6 Hours of Le Castellet, the opening round of the Le Mans Series 2011. "He had been highly recommended by Luc Alphand Aventures, and I knew his speed in single seaters", said Henri Pescarolo. "I am very pleased with him. "At Le Castellet, he was just as fast as Christophe and Emmanuel, both of whom are reference drivers, and went quickly when necessary. It follows what I have always encouraged: the promotion of young French drivers, including a lost generation in single-seater who are now the happy in endurance."
Some of the "alumni" of Henri Pescarolo and are among the favorites of the 24 Heures du Mans 2011 and will of course be on track for the Test Day: Sebastien Bourdais, Nicolas Minassian, Stephane Sarrazin, Franck Montagny and Simon Pagenaud at Peugeot, and Romain Dumas and Benoit Treluyer at Audi.
The official test day of the 24 Hours of Le Mans will be held on the 24t April.
