The Lotus Jetalliance team receives reinforcement in the shape of Karl Wendlinger this weekend at Silverstone. The Lotus Evora GTE will contest the fifth round of the ILMC.
The former Austrian F1 driver, Karl Wendlinger, will join team Jet Alliance at Silverstone where he will drive the #65 Lotus Evora with James Rossiter and Johnny Mowlem. Since the Imola race (3rd July), the two British cars have been completely revised and each equipped with a total of nine changes.
Lukas Lichtner-Hoyer, owner of Jet Alliance, "I am very pleased to have Karl on the team. It will certainly help us to have his experience. I hope we will be more competitive with all these new developments. "

Karl Wendlinger, driver: "First of all, I am pleased to finally be back behind the wheel of a race car, especially in the team with which I have been successful for over three years GT1 World Championship. I have no experience with Lotus, but I will try to adapt quickly during practice sessions."
