How was the first qualifying session?
Kristian Poulsen, driver of No.95 Aston Martin Racing Vantage V8 : “Yesterday went quite well, - when the track was free, we drove it as fast as we could. Not very easy, but we managed a good time.”
What is it like coming to drive an Aston Martin at Le Mans?
“AMR really knows their stuff, - it's impressive. We thought that with 5 cars, it could be a bit stressful, but on the contrary, it seems as if it works even better. Each team looks after each of their cars, and they help each other if needed. We've got an absolutely brilliant first mechanic and engineer - we didn't have any influence on whom we got, but we're very happy as it is”.
What do you look forward the most to ?
(Smiling) "Driving over the finish line - preferably first in class!”
Who will be in the car for the start?
"Allan normally starts the car, then Christoffer and then me - that's the way we've normally done it and there is no reason to change that. Lets hope for dry weather - both for the race but also for the fans out there in their tents. I love all of the circuit, - the Porsche curves is where you really have to concentrate, - get it right, and you can gain some time - but get it slightly wrong, you can lose a lot too. It's a lovely racetrack, with little room for error - if you fall off, it will hurt, - as could be seen with the Krohn Racing Ferrari."
