Matt McMurry is the first driver from the Junior Academy for young American drivers created by Chris Dyson, who is his team mate at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The third driver is the experienced British driver Tom Kimber-Smith, twice winner of the LM P2 class at Le Mans in 2011 and 2013.

Chris Dyson: "We have followed Matt carefully since he was fourteen. His father raced with Chris Dyson Racing in the United States and the decision to create our Junior Academy (for young American drivers) was done very quickly, two years ago. It was only last autumn that the idea to bring Matt to the 24 Hours of Le Mans was organized around my relationship with Greaves Motorsport, with which I was the driver in the FIA World Endurance Championship last year. So Matt prepared to race in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. "

Matt McMurry: "In my first laps on the circuit of the 24 hours ... I tried hard not to do anything stupid. After a few laps, I got used to the track and I started to have fun, this is an incredible circuit. After each of my stints, I looked with Tom Kimber-Smith at videos and technical data to see how and where I can improve. "

Chris Dyson: "The progress of Matt is impressive, both in personality and speed. Tim Greaves is also very involved in identifying young talent within his own team, which is a good family atmosphere . "

Matt McMurry: "We finished fourth at Silverstone, just ten seconds from third place, a result that we could also have had, if we had not been hampered by engine problems at Imola, which slowed us on straights. It gives good hopes for Le Mans. "
