Le Mans 2014 - The 82nd edition in 24 numbers

Though the winning trio did not beat the distance record held since 2010 by Timo Bernhard, Romain Dumas and Mike Rockenfeller, other records fell and certain numbers show the extent to which the 82nd edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans was hotly contested throughout the four classes. 1 - Aston Martin celebrated its first victory in the LM GTE Am class since its inception.

2 - Number of the winning car overall, for the second consecutive time, a first...

3 - Number of victories at the 24 Hours of Le Mans for the trio Marcel Fässler-André Lotterer-Benoît Tréluyer after yesterday's win.

3 - Bis - Number of slow zones, in effect as of this year to avoid the intervention of safety cars when cleaning the track becomes necessary.

4 - Number of full course cautions, 1 hour 38 minutes all total.

8 - Number of overall leader changes during the race.

9 - Number of LM P1 class cars at the start of the race; 4 would be at the finish.

13 - Total number of Audi victories.

14 - Number of podiums for Tom Kristensen, nine-time winner in La Sarthe, second yesterday with the No. 1 Audi R18 e-tron quattro along with Lucas di Grassi, who replaced Allan McNish, young retiree, and Marc Gené, who replaced Loïc Duval, the latter having fallen victim to an incident, without injury, during the practice.

15 - Number of times the best lap was beaten in the LM P2 class. Nelson Panciatici, in the No. 36 Alpine A450b had the last word.

16 - Number of leader changes in the LM P2 class, the very last at one hour from the finish, when Jota Sport's No. 38 Zytek took the lead.

17 - Number of consecutive Michelin victories as tyre manufacturer, with 23 all total.

24 - Number of leader changes in the LM GTE Pro class, the sparsest class, but certainly not the least fought over: the duel between Bruno Senna, in the No. 97 Aston Martin and Gianmaria Bruni, World Champion in the class in the No. 51 Ferrari, on Sunday a few hours from the finish was a thing of beauty.

25 - Air temperature, in °C, at the start of the race. Despite the reasonable temperature, two storms distrupted the start of the race and put an end to the race for some competitors.

29 - Number of refueling pit-stops for the winning Audi, for which the turbo had to be replaced at the beginning of the night.

38 - Number of Jota Sport's victorious Zytek-Nissan in the LM P2 class. As an anecdote, Oliver Turvey replaced Marc Gené, gone to Audi following Loïc Duval's incident. An unexpected victory for the British driver with his teammates Harry Tincknell and Simon Dolan.

51 - Number of AF Corse's winning Ferrari 458 Italia in the LM GTE Pro class with Gianmaria Bruni, Toni Vilander and Giancarlo Fisichella. The trio's second success after 2012.

300 - Speed in km/h reached by the Nissan ZEOD RC at the end of the Mulsanne Straight in 100% electric mode.

317 - Best lap by André Lotterer (winning No. 2 Audi), in 3:22.567, his third best lap in La Sarthe.

339 - Number of laps, a record, completed by the winning Ferrari in the LM GTE Pro class. Record also in the LM GTE Am class with 334 laps.

379 - Number of laps of the Circuit des 24 Heures raced by the winners.

263,300 - Number of spectators at the 82nd edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the biggest number of the past two decades.

5,000,000 - Number of visitors on the official website during 24 Hours week.
