Le Mans and WEC - How Neel Jani (Porsche) is getting ready for the new season (video)

Official Porsche driver Neel Jani is gearing up for a new season of the World Endurance Championship (WEC) as defending champion. At the wheel of the Porsche 919 Hybrid now boasting the #1, Jani is looking to win at the 24 Hours of Le Mans a second time after last year's win.

This year, Neel Jani will have two new teammates: André Lotterer, former official Audi driver and three-time winner at the 24 Hours (2011, 2012 and 2014) and Nick Tandy (winner at Le Mans in 2015). In this video, the Swiss driver describes how he is preparing for a new season, shaping up to be just as intense and competitive as the last. His efforts are paying off, he just scored pole position at the 12 Hours of Sebring (see article) this past weekend in Rebellion Racing's Oreca 07, to be called Vaillante Rebellion at Le Mans as a tribute to the comic book character.

Neel Jani and his Porsche teammates will now head to Italy and the Monza circuit for the Prologue, the official FIA WEC test sessions (April 1st and 2nd).
