With more than 8,000 participants, the final qualifier of the second season of the Le Mans Esports Series was yet another huge success. Drivers hit the track at the iconic Spa-Francorchamps circuit at the wheel of the 2017 Porsche 911 RSR GTE. Here are all the competitors set to participate in the Super Final at Le Mans in September.
From Friday 24 April through Sunday 3 May, the Le Mans Esports Series was held at the legendary Spa circuit in Belgium where competitors tried for the perfect lap at the wheel of the stunning 911 RSR. In the end, RBR Venom won for the America zone in 2:16.606 (check out his lap in the video below), followed a full second later by SQD GGRacing (2:17.622). All gamers in the top 5 for this qualifier are American.
WIL Rich 92, who qualified for the Europe-Middle East-Africa zone, also clocked a lap in under 2:17. As usual, the Europe zone was highly competitive, with the top 15 all under 2:19. FcT DjokeR's time was 2:18.309 and The Eternal 117's was 2:18.463, allowing them to reach the podium in the Asia zone dominated by RZM Massacre in 2:17.919.
RBR Venom, WIL Rich 92 and RZM Massacre secured their spots in the Super Final at this last qualifier of the season.
