The 37 year old British engineer will become the representative of women engineers in the commission, created in 2010 by Jean Todt after his election to the presidency of the FIA and entrusted to former driver Michèle Mouton. On the 4th of September, Leena Gade was in Paris as part of a meeting of the committee devoted to the promotion of young women aspiring to a career in motor sport engineering in.
In addition to two victories in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, with her trio of drivers Fässler, Lotterer and Tréluyer won the drivers' title of the FIA World Endurance Championship 2012. They won the 6 Hours of Sao Paulo on the 1st September, the fourth round of the 2013 World Championship. They are second in the drivers standings, in pursuit of the sister car of Loïc Duval, Tom Kristensen and Allan McNish.
