Level 5 Motorsports will not race the fifth round of the Intercontinental Le Mans Cup to be held on the 11th of September 2011.

The American team, which counts among its ranks a former winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans in the person of French Christophe Bouchut, had just acquired an HPD (Honda) ARX-01g chassis, replacing the Lola coupe used during the first races of the Intercontinental Le Mans Cup 2011. Entered in both Intercontinental Le Mans Cup and American Le Mans Series, Level 5 Motorsports is now expected at the start of Petit Le Mans (1st October) which will count for both series.
