Just a few weeks ahead of the 94th 24 Hours of Le Mans on 13-14 June, Inter Europol Competition has unveiled the special livery inspired by landscapes of rapeseed fields given to its ORECA 07-Gibson LMP2.

There are liveries that cover a car, and then there are liveries that give it a soul. For the upcoming 2026&nbsp;24 Hours of Le&nbsp;Mans, Inter Europol Competition has favoured the latter. The #43 ORECA&nbsp;07-Gibson shared by&nbsp;Kuba Śmiechowski, Tom Dillmann and&nbsp;Nick Yelloly will sport&nbsp;a special creation&nbsp;by Polish designers Aleksandra and Gustaw Lange, from the Lange &amp; Lange design studio.&nbsp;The Art Car fielded by&nbsp;the LMP2 winner of&nbsp;last year&#39;s&nbsp;24 Hours of Le Mans is comprehensive in concept, including&nbsp;the prototype itself as well as the visual identity of the project as a whole.

<h2>a livery inspired by rolling rapeseed fields</h2>

Inter Europol Competition&rsquo;s iconic yellow and green are on full display. These colours are extracted from&nbsp;the rapeseed fields of Poland,&nbsp;those vibrant expanses that flow&nbsp;with&nbsp;the wind. Yet at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, nothing stands still, so&nbsp;the designers have transformed this peaceful image into a living entity&nbsp;coursing with energy and speed.

The car&nbsp;becomes&nbsp;a moving canvas and an evocation of the Polish Impressionist movement &mdash;&nbsp;steeped in references to Leon Wycz&oacute;łkowski, Edward Dwurnik&nbsp;and Waldemar Świerzy &mdash;&nbsp;and of&nbsp;the Polish School of Posters.

Aleksandra and&nbsp;Gustaw Lange: Our goal was to create something that works on an immediate visual level, but also carries deeper layers of meaning. This is not just aesthetics. It is a language that connects history, emotion&nbsp;and function.

<h2>Le Mans, THE PErfect stage to tell a story</h2>

At the 24 Hours of Le Mans, every detail eventually tells a story, from&nbsp;brake discs glowing red in the night to&nbsp;bodywork caked with insects. This Art Car embodies the&nbsp;tradition in which the machine represents&nbsp;far more than mere performance. Inter Europol Competition has not lost sight of what truly matters, fully aware of&nbsp;what it takes to survive the most unforgiving race in the world.

Sport Director Sascha Fassbender:&nbsp;Winning the 24 Hours of Le Mans twice and finishing second once has shown us what it takes to perform at the very highest level of endurance racing. <h2>SEEKING a SECOND consecutive WIN</h2>

The 24 Hours of Le Mans has always served as a living automobile museum. Some cars win the race, others earn a place in the collective memory. Inter Europol Competition is going after both this year.

When the #43 sets off on Saturday, 13 June at&nbsp;16:00, Kuba Śmiechowski, Tom Dillmann, and Nick Yelloly will be&nbsp;looking to claim&nbsp;the top step on the LMP2&nbsp;podium for a second year in a row. Their experience, precision&nbsp;and team spirit are sure to&nbsp;be decisive factors in&nbsp;the team&#39;s result on the track, but it is the Art Car that will resonate&nbsp;far beyond the world of motorsport.

It is also worth noting the Polish outfit has&nbsp;entered&nbsp;a second chassis bearing the #343 to be driven by&nbsp;Bijoy Garg, Reshad de Gerus&nbsp;and Nico M&uuml;ller.

Inter Europol Competition transforms ORECA 07 into rolling work of art

Some cars disappear into the darkness when night falls. Not the #3 DKR Engineering Oreca 07-Gibson. On the contrary, it promises to emerge from the depths of the forest like a nocturnal beast. Designer Victor Vullo is behind the Luxembourgeois team’s spectacular 24 Hours of Le Mans livery.

For its fifth 24 Hours of Le Mans on 10-14 June,&nbsp;LMP2 Pro/Am&nbsp;entrant&nbsp;DKR Engineering has chosen a visual identity for onlookers to interact with rather than to contemplate. Designer <a href="https://victorvullo.wixsite.com/studio" target="_blank">Victor Vullo</a> isn&rsquo;t out to make a political statement. He seeks to portray the emotion sparked by a race car: an image that kindles the imagination and keeps the flame aglow for decades.

<h2>A beacon in the darkness</h2>

By day, the #3 Oreca 07-Gibson sports the traditional DKR Engineering colours: pitch black and glowing orange. But when the sun sets on Le Mans, the livery will come alive. The designer sought to take the graphics produced for the European Le Mans Series a step further, like a deep-sea diver exploring the bed of the ocean.

&ldquo;I wanted to rework the legacy of the famous 2022 Nemo livery. The Le Mans design is an extension of the ELMS one, but it goes further into the depths. I drew on bioluminescence to create a neon effect that will come into its own at night,&rdquo; he explains.

The concept is inspired by marine organisms that produce their own light in the absolute darkness of the sea bed. An apt idea for Le Mans, the race where everything changes when midnight strikes. When the circuit is cloaked in black, the headlamps trace its outlines. Some cars stand out. Others disappear.

<h2>A livery that speaks to young hearts</h2>

Victor Vullo evokes his design with the enthusiasm of a child. This was no exercise in aesthetics; the creation stems from vivid memories of the Porsche 962 and Jaguar XJR-9.

&ldquo;As a child I was fascinated by the Group C liveries. I quite simply set out to please the 24 Hours of Le Mans crowd with a completely different design and I hope children will be as captivated as I used to be.&quot;

Everyone remembers a car, an image, a feeling of being trackside at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. This Oreca 07-Gibson sets out to be that memory. To establish that connection. Not a staid painting. No, a car that people can relate to, the one they&rsquo;ll want to photograph, the one they&rsquo;ll look out for on the Pit Straight.

Asked whether he considers his creation to be an Art Car, Victor Vullo is humble. &ldquo;I don&#39;t consider myself an artist. More an industrial designer. To me, this is design work. What really counts is that fans enjoy looking at the car.&rdquo;

<h2>Looking for the limelight</h2>

That said, DKR Engineering is not coming to Le Mans just for appearances. Last time, in 2024, the team finished in 21st place overall and seventh in LMP2. The 2026 European Le Mans Series has been frustrating so far: 17th at the 4 Hours of Barcelona and 18th at Le Castellet &ndash; results that do not reflect the team&rsquo;s potential.

Team manager Kendy Janclaes is counting on a well-balanced crew: Canadian John Farano, Mexican Sebasti&aacute;n &Aacute;lvarez, who took part with IDEC Sport last year, and Dutchman Renger Van der Zande, for whom this will be the ninth Le Mans start.

To Victor Vullo, the collective effort is beautiful to see. &ldquo;Now I&rsquo;ve experienced the race from the inside with DKR Engineering, I know that everyone is out to do their best to achieve a good result. Team spirit still exists and that restores my faith in humanity.&rdquo;

At Le Mans, cars always have more to say for themselves than a ranking or a lap time. Some seek to dazzle, while others look to make a lasting impression. The #3 Oreca 07-Gibson would no doubt like to do both.

24H EXPERIENCE app: your pocket guide to the 24 Hours of Le Mans

For its inaugural edition, Le Mans Classic Legend, taking place from July 2 to 5, 2026 on the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans Circuit, is set to deliver a spectacular weekend both on and off the track. Co-organised by Peter Auto and the Automobile Club de l’Ouest, this brand-new event will offer a contemporary celebration of endurance racing history through 5 grids featuring cars from the mid-1970s to the late 2010s. From iconic prototypes to legendary GT cars, spectators will witness on track the technical and aesthetic evolution of endurance racing over the past 50 years on the full Le Mans circuit.

Beyond the on-track demonstrations and racing grids, Le Mans Classic Legend will offer a true festive and cultural experience designed for all audiences. Concerts, exhibitions, open-air cinema screenings and retro entertainment will bring the village to life throughout the weekend, transforming the event into a genuine vintage festival.

<h2>LIVE MUSIC &amp; ENTERTAINMENT</h2>

Following the success of the 2025 edition, two nights of concerts are once again on the program, featuring new headliners: Contrecoeur, Purple Disco Machine, and &Eacute;tienne de Cr&eacute;cy on Friday night, followed by Bacchus, Superbus, and Bon Entendeur on Saturday night. A lineup designed to keep the audience dancing and singing until the wee hours of the morning.

Visitors will be immersed in a musical atmosphere ranging from the great classics of the &rsquo;80s and &rsquo;90s to the best hits of the 2010s. The Republican Guard&rsquo;s marching band will also be back and will perform, throughout the weekend, musical arrangements specially created for the event.

<h2>SHOWS, ENTERTAINMENT &amp; RETRO ATMOSPHERE</h2>

Visitors will be able to enjoy performances by Street Smile, a troupe that blends interactive breakdancing, Double Dutch, and freestyle BMX demonstrations through several shows held throughout the weekend across the circuit. An urban, festive energy will transport the audience back to the golden age of street culture. Breakdancing workshops will be offered to the public throughout the weekend.

Thrill-seekers will find Bike Art and its impressive trials and freestyle BMX shows. Up to three performances a day will liven up the weekend, accompanied by introductory sessions allowing the public to discover these spectacular disciplines up close with the riders.

Younger visitors will enjoy a dedicated play area featuring face painting, tattoos, fun activities, a magician, and photo booths. All activities will be free and open to everyone throughout the weekend, with the exception of the claw machine at the carnival.

A first edition also means plenty of new features, and this one is packed with them to satisfy the whole family. A large carnival will take place at the heart of the event with rides, bumper cars, a coconut shy, shooting galleries, and cotton candy to transport visitors back to the memories of the great popular festivals of yesteryear. A large vintage arcade area will also feature pinball machines, arcade games, pool tables, air hockey, and retro game consoles.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;

Another major new feature this year: the Supercars Run, which will give enthusiasts the opportunity to admire several collector&rsquo;s supercars and hypercars on the track on Saturday morning, as they take on the grand loop of the 24 Hours of Le Mans Circuit.

To round out this festive atmosphere, Le Mans Classic Legend will also celebrate the 7th Art with an open-air cinema on Friday and Saturday. Three screenings per day will allow visitors to rediscover cult films from the &rsquo;80s and &rsquo;90s in a friendly atmosphere.

<h2>THE MAZDA 787B RETURNS TO THE GRAND CIRCUIT</h2>

The legendary Mazda 787B will take center stage during a special demonstration on the 24 Hours of Le Mans circuit. A true icon of endurance racing and the only Japanese car to win the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1991, the 787B will offer the public a rare opportunity to see one of the most iconic cars in the history back in action. The distinctive sound of its rotary engine will once again echo through the Sarthe for a moment filled with emotion and nostalgia.

<h2>LITTLE BIG MANS: YOUNG DRIVERS TAKE CENTER STAGE</h2>

Because passion starts at an early age, young motorsport enthusiasts taking part in Little Big Mans will also have their own chance to shine on track.

Open to children aged 7 to 12, Little Big Mans is a parade featuring miniature replicas powered by electric or combustion engines inspired by legendary endurance racing cars.

<h2>GORDON MURRAY IN THE SPOTLIGHT</h2>

Another highlight of the weekend will be the exceptional presence of Gordon Murray, visionary engineer and iconic figure in automotive history. To celebrate the occasion, an exclusive parade featuring several legendary Gordon Murray creations will take place on the 24 Hours of le Mans Circuit. Spectators will notably be able to admire the legendary McLaren F1, winner of the 1995 24 Hours of Le Mans in its GTR version, alongside the T.50, T.50s Niki Lauda, and T.33 models from Gordon Murray Automotive.

Two iconic Formula 1 single-seaters will also join the celebration: the Brabham BT42 and the legendary McLaren MP4/5B, driven by Ayrton Senna during his second Formula 1 World Championship title in 1990. Throughout the weekend, the vehicles taking part in this exclusive parade will be displayed in the heart of the village, offering visitors a unique immersion into Gordon Murray&rsquo;s world.
