Since 2009, Loïc Duval has accumulated many victories and titles: Champion Formula Nippon ( in Japan) with Honda in 2009, champion of Super GT (cars) the following year before drinking champagne on the highest step of the podium at the 12 hours of Sebring in 2011. In 2012, the adopted Vauclusien had to settle for winning the 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps, a round of the FIA World Endurance Championship  (WEC), while in 2013, he was successful in winning the  24 Hours of Le Mans with Tom Kristensen and Allan McNish. The trio has also emerged winners at the 6 Hours of Silverstone, the opening race of the season.

The official Audi driver, who was in Brazil on September 1, married Gaëlle in the village of Velleron, near Avignon, where he took up residence on his return from Japan.  Loïc Duval turned to the country of the Rising Sun in 2006 after a career in single-seaters, as André Lotterer and Benoît Tréluyer had done before him. A works driver for Honda and Toyota, the Chartres born driver abandoned the Super GT series this season, but he continued his career in Formula Nippon (currently sixth in the standings).

Loïc Duval went with wife and child to the Fuji Speedway last year during the round of the WEC, in which he did not participate. His son Hugo was very interested in the cars on the grid, even if could not approach them. A future driver?
