On June 7, Rebellion Racing came to the Jacobins with an impressive crew looking like a factory team: two perfectly-prepared prototypes, and six top drivers. The Le Mans week ended with a great disappointment. The Rebellion Lolas were not as fast as the Aston Martin-powered cars, but could complete laps under 3:30. This pace enabled the 13 to battle up to the 9th position after five hours of racing. After the loss of the rear hood in the evening, the Rebellion cars suffered many issues. A few minutes after midnight, Jean-Christophe Boullion ran into the tyre wall at the Ford chicane. Three hours later, Neel Jani walked back to the Rebellion pit after a mechanical failure.
The 24 Hours were equally difficult for Drayson Racing. The Lola received the chequered flag but was not classified. Five-time Le Mans winner Emmanuele Pirro spent a great amount of time in the pits and could watch the performances of his former Audi team mates.
