The sixth race American Le Mans Series (ALMS) race in 2010 is particularly auspicious for Lola, for two reasons ; Firstly the Drayson Racing and Dyson Racing at the forefront of qualifying at Mid-Ohio, and secondly the British manufacturer has announced a new partnership for 2011.

The two LM P2 chassis (one open and one closed) recently unveiled by Lola may be fitted as standard with a V6 Ford engine called "Eco Boost Turbo designed by Roush Yates. Lola thus enters into partnership with one of the greatest experts in the preparation of Ford competition engines to the west of the Atlantic. We remember in particular the Mustang and Probe IMSA GTP views during the 80s. Jack Roush is also one of representatives of Ford in the Sprint Cup, with more than 250 victories in various championships organized by the NASCAR.

There is no doubt that this partnership offers a great sporting opportunities, given the respective reputations of Lola and Roush Yates and this opens an exciting new chapter in the legendary history of Ford in Endurance.
