Mélanie and Jules Tréluyer waiting for Benoit to come home!

This morning, he packed his bag! No, Benoit Tr

"We will survive!" says Mélanie jokingly who is used to her husband’s escapades. It was last Sunday that they got the keys to their furnished bungalow with two bedrooms, a bathroom and a small kitchen.

"It’s very comfortable and above all, we gain a lot of time, explains Mélanie. No more traffic jams at the entrance of the circuit. Otherwise, it’s not possible to cook here for security reasons, but not far away we have the Audi hospitality where we can have our meals."

In the small village, life has got itself organized during the week.

"We invite each other for a coffee, organise our little lives with our friends," continues the triple champion’s wife. Son Jules, as for him, he's making the most of this anticipated holiday, playing, reading and eating small wasabi sweets that he has loved since he was a child in Japan.

Of course, like in real life, you have your ups and downs…of neighbourhood problems! This year, the quiet nights were sometimes interrupted by Russian neighbours slightly annoying and noisy.

"Tonight," smiles Mélanie "we won’t have this kind of problem. The noise of the engines will be inviting itself in our dreams…"
