With the audience to their side, the Schumacher Vettel duo took a fifth victory in the Nations Cup for Gemany, but endurance drivers also did well ...

At forty four years old, Tom Kristensen was the most senior of the eighteen drivers involved in the Nations Cup. Yet, the eightfold winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans showed he had lost none of his drive by winning duels against Romain Grosjean and Timo Glock. The Dane and his partner Juho Hänninen (Nordic team) have, however, lost in the final against Michael Schumacher and Sebastian Vettel (Team Germany).

Second endurance driver invited to Düsseldorf, Andy Priaulx was also a credit to his discipline, beating Sebastian Vettel in the early evening. Later, the official driver and BMW team-mate Jenson Button were eliminated in the semifinals by the eventual winners.

Follow the action from 13:00 on the Race of Champions website today when divers race for individual honours.
