Everyone likes to put on their Sunday best for special occasions
Nissan goes back to the 90s
As we mentioned yesterday, the N°21 Nissan GT-R LM Nismo is sporting the same livery as the Nissan R 90 CK that took pole position at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1990. The other two cars will however be keeping to their original red garb.
Aston Martin in colour switch
The No.99 Aston Martin V8 Vantage, entered by Aston Martin Racing and driven by Dalla Lana, MacDowall and Stanaway, has traded in its Gulf livery (the colours of the oil company) for the rather fetching red-and-yellow ensemble of its sponsor Hanergy.
The second KCMG Oreca at Le Mans
Although first reserve, the No.49 Oreca 03-Judd will be present at the Test Day. The black, light green and red car will be entered by KCMG and driven by Fujii, Hoshino and Klien. It will be supervised by the Race Performance team that has participated in the Le Mans 24 Hours on four occasions.
The two ESM Ligiers will gather no moss!
The new Extreme Speed Motorsports (ESM) cars have swapped their usual green for the silver-grey that outlines the logo of Rolling Stone magazine. The name of the magazine will also be splashed across the sides of the cars in red. If there were a prize for best-dressed car, this new ESM livery may well have clinched it! The two Ligier JS P2s will be driven by Sharp, Dalziel and Heinemeier-Hansson (No.30) with Brown, Van Overbeek and Fogarty sharing the wheel of No.31.
The ByKolles CLM P1/01- AER greys out
The No.4 CLM appeared in white for the last round of the FIA World Endurance Championship in Spa-Francorchamps. It will however be rocking a striking grey livery for the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
Rebellion Racing shows its colours
The two Rebellion R-One cars raced in red and white last year. For its return to competition, the Swiss team has opted for a plain design. The No.12 of Prost, Heifeld and Beche will be in pearl white while the No. 13 will be in metallic red for Abt, Kraihamer and Imperatori.
