Lola have revealed their new LM P1 prototype, of which Dyson Racing and Rebellion Racing will each race two cars at the Le Mans 24 Hours.
Named B12/60, this chassis is a development of the outstanding Lola 'B' series LM P1. It will be used by teams including Rebellion Racing and Dyson Racing. The first, powered by Toyota, will enter two cars in the FIA World Endurance Championship. The second, powered by Mazda, will contest both Sebring and Le Mans.

The Lola B12/60, that bears the family genes, however, differs from its predecessor (B10/60) by adopting the (mandatory) shark fin as well as many other aerodynamic changes, including the headlights. Dyson Racing soon test the car at Sebring, Florida.
Chris Dyson, Dyson Racing driver: "We are really looking forward to a big step forward this season with the new Lola B12/60 LMP1 Coupe. It is really a clean sheet of paper approach in many respects. The new aerodynamic package looks very good indeed. The new design stresses to a far greater degree the weight advantage of our AER-designed 2.0 litre Mazda turbo engine–the lightest powerplant in LM P1. From the outset, we have packaged the weight distribution of the car to maximise improved aero capabilities. We knew the previous Lola so well that we can pinpoint from day one where we can improve, and hit the ground running."
