News in brief from the Interlagos circuit in Brazil, ahead of the free practice sessions for the 6 hours of Sao Paulo, the fifth round of the FIA World Endurance Championship.

LM P1: Lucas di Grassi from diesel to electric. Team-mate Tom Kristensen and Allan McNish in the Audi R18 ultra No.2, the Brazilian will soon swap a turbocharged diesel engine for a 100% electric car; he has been named the official test driver for future FIA Formula E championship.

LM P2: Nicolas Minassian, the return of a winner. Winner of the Mil Milhas Brasil 2007 in the Peugeot 908 HDi FAP, the French driver is back on the Interlagos circuit. He replaces Soheil Ayari driving the Oreca-Nissan No.49 of Pecom Racing alongside Luis Perez Companc and Pierre Kaffer.

LM P2: Alex Brundle joins OAK Racing. After completing his first 24 Hours of Le Mans and setting the pole position time of the LM P2 class at the 6 Hours of Silverstone, Greaves Motorsport is in front of the teams standing in the World Championship, Alex Brundle joins OAK Racing in Sao Paulo. He will drive the Morgan-Nissan No.35, along with the Belgian Bertrand Baguette and Austrian Dominik Kraihamer.

LM GTE Pro: Aston Martin Racing duo. The Mexican driver Adrian Fernandez has put aside his collaboration with Aston Martin Racing to monitor the merger between American Le Mans Series / Grand Am. Briton Darren Turner and German Stefan Mücke will drive the Aston Martin Vantage GTE No.97 at the 6 Hours of Sao Paulo.

LM GTE Pro: Giancarlo Fisichella, recalls memories of a first victory. For the driver of the Ferrari 458 Italia No.51, Interlagos is a very special memory. In 2003, he won the Brazilian Grand Prix at the wheel of Jordan, at the end of a race disrupted and interrupted by rain.
