After several months of absence, the Norma M200P will soon be back on the track!
Team Extrême Limite will enter the French prototype in the five races of the Le Mans Series, and will file an application to participate in the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
Born a few weeks before the last 24 hours, the creation of Norbert Santos surprised observers by getting involved at the heart of the struggle between the Radical, Lola and WR, but after three hours of racing, a misunderstanding between Frederic Da Rocha and Peter Dumbreck (Spyker) put the prototype in the wall of the new section. Since then, a dispute between the manufacturer Norma Auto Concept and team Pegasus Racing had suspended the program of the association in the Le Mans Series.
This year, with the support of Norma, the team Extrême Limite will run the Norma M200P in LM P2. As required by regulatory changes, it will now be powered by a Judd HK and a Xtrac gearbox. The team based in Nantes will soon begin the development program with the French driver Fabien Rosier.
With fifteen years in endurance racing,
Extrême Limite possesses a solid experience through the expertise of its team manager Patrice Roussel, who has six entries in the 24 Hours of Le Mans and two full seasons in the USA.
