The EXTREME LIMITE ARIC team will again run a Norma in LM P2 after a promising 2011 season. The French team is committed officially in European Le Mans Series and has requested an invitation for the next 24 Hours of Le Mans.
The podium in the last race of the 2011 Le Mans Series at Estoril showed the progress made during the season by the team based near Nantes. However, Patrice Roussel's team not resting on their laurels and have spent a busy winter improving the Judd engined Norma M200P. The modifications due to new aero rules will be twsted in February 2012 on the circuit Lurcy-Lévis in Allier.
"We have a solid basis that allows us confidence for 2012," said Patrice Roussel. "Our podium in the final at Estoril and testing among others on the Bugatti circuit in mid-December confirmed that we are making fast progress in performance! "
The progress of thr Norma matches that of the the driver, Fabien Rosier, who was awarded the Jean Rondeau prize for the best French rookie at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2011. The 27 year old will again part of the adventure, the team can now count on his experience as well as his talent.
The EXTREME LIMITE ARIC team will begin its 2012 season on April 1st at Le Castellet, but by then, the announcement of the list of participants at the 80th edition of the Le Mans 24 Hours will have been published.
