Three weeks after the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the director of Peugeot Sport has digested the (relative) failure of his team and now focuses on the implementation of the Intercontinental Le Mans Cup.

Olivier Quesnel intends to use the Italian round of the ILMC to sit ahead of Peugeot in the standings "builder". A mid season, the French firm has 34 point lead over his German rival.

The Audi R18 has a new aero kit for Imola. Is this also the case for the Peugeot 908?
Olivier Quesnel:" Our car changes with each race and will continue to evolve until the end of the year. However, we have no dramatic changes here."

Pedro Lamy did not drive much in the last 24 Hours of Le Mans. Has he had his last race behind the wheel of a Peugeot 908?
"He will no longer part of the team next year, but for now he is still a Peugeot driver, until the end of the year. It is clear that if necessary, we will use him, and it is equally clear that he will come with a big smile. We are on good terms."

Last year you confirmed the renewal of your nine drivers immediately after the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Not this time ...
"Last year we lost three cars in the race ... Not this year! For now, we prefer to focus on the current season and the title ILMC. The time to choose our drivers for 2012 has not yet come."

Sébastien Loeb was present at the Le Mans ... A sign for the next 24 hours?
"He was also present at the Moto Grand Prix de France ... Do you think he will be with Ducati next year? More seriously, Sébastien focuses on his season in rallying. If he wants to run at Le Mans, we will consider his request with great interest."

Will we soon see other Peugeot 908, entered by private teams?
"A lot of teams interested in the Peugeot 908. For now, a program "competition client" is not our priority. Oreca will not have a 908 this season, but that does not mean that you will not see them with a Peugeot (908 HDi FAP, ed.)"
