Oreca has recently expanded its manufacturing activity with a third moel on its range of prototypes, a car aimed at both competition and leisure.

In 2009, Oreca launched the 'Formula Le Mans'. Two years later it was the Oreca 03 LM P2. Since then, it has had many successes and podiums in endurance racing, including the 24 Hours of Le Mans. With this third prototype, for competition and leisure, the group based in the Var region of France has a new challenge and tackles a new market.

The new prototype will be used for competition in the 'CN' class, in series such as the VdeV, Speed ​​Euro Series championship, plus sports-prototypes events both national and international, and also hillclimb. Facing of established manufacturers, want to set themselves apart. 

Hugues de Chaunac: “Our design study department worked on this project, relying on CFD tools (digital wind tunnel testing) and structural calculations at our disposal. Innovation is part of our DNA and it was logical for us to go in this direction. Our goal is to offer a package that is competitive and attractive, while respecting the spirit of the particular discipline. In addition, we are particularly attentive to the needs of our customer teams, which is why a customer support program will be put in place to accompany them in their adventure."

A limited number of the new prototype will be available next year.
