Engaged in a dual programme, Henri Pescarolo faces a busy schedule. Yesterday it was time to test the Dome before the team goes to Florida to compete in the 12 Hours of Sebring.
On the 17th of March, the venerable 01 Pescarolo chassis will race for the last time at the 12 Hours of Sebring. It will then be replaced by the Pescarolo 03 that will debut on the 5th of May at Spa-Francorchamps. At Spa, Pescarolo Team will also run the Japanese Dome S102.5. Both cars are entered for the 24 Hours of Le Mans on 16th and 17th of June

To stay on schedule, Henri Pescarolo had set a goal to run the Dome S102.5 before going to Sebring. Mission accomplished; the car ran yesterday at the Chateauroux Aerodrome.
The day's programme was limited to new components not tested before on this prototype like the engine (V8 Judd), the gearbox (Zytek), or the 'larger' front tyres (Michelin) . In the hands of Nicolas Minassian, who will share the wheel with Sebastien Bourdais and Seiji Ara, the Dome S102.5 covered several visits to the 3 km long track. According to the team, no problems were reported.
Following Sebring the programme will go to Spain: April 3 for testing at Navarra, then a few days later on the Motorland Aragon.
