The brand new No.16 Pescarolo 03-Judd appears at Scrutineering at 17.20 followed by the No.17 Pescarolo Team Dome - Judd S102.5.

The 03 is a new car built around the monocoque and suspension of the ill-fated Aston Martin AMR-One. The project is behind schedule and missed it's debut at Spa and have had only  a brief shakedown and a limited run at Magny-Cours before the test day.

Emmanuel Collard and Jean-Christophe Boullion  are joined at Le Mans by Stuart Hall a last minute addition to the line up at the behest of Roald Goethe, the owner of the AMR-One who provided the finance to complete the car after the expected link up with Luxury Racing foundered. Hall replaced Julien Jousse who was extremely annoyed at the turn of events and commenced legal proceedings against the team.

Veteran engineer Ricardo Davila has brokered the deal for Pescarolo to run the #17 Dome-Judd, reworked to the latest regulations and fitted with Judd's 3.4 litre V8 (originally they had intended to use HPD power) in place of the original V10. Testing has been limited (and was halted by an accident) but the team believes that it has resolved the electronic glitches that it had at Spa with a switch from Zytek to the Megaline paddleshift system and was testing at the Bugatti circuit over the past days.

The driver line up is very strong in #17 with 2004 winner Seiji Ara being joined by ex-Peugeot men Nicolas Minassian and Sebastian Bourdais.
