A week after the victory of the ADR Delta team in the LM P2 class at the 6 Hours of Fuji penultimate round of the FIA World Endurance Championship, the Oreca 03 took three titles on the Road Atlanta circuit at the finish of Petit Le Mans.

Third in the LM P2 class and highest placed competitors of the European Le Mans Series, Thiriet by TDS Racing won the series title. Joined for the occasion by Christophe Tinseau, (as he did at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2012), Pierre Thiriet and Mathias Beche Thiriet took the drivers' title, and for good measure, Oreca won the Manufacturers' title again as they did in 2011 !

Thiriet by TDS Racing has finished the season as it began: with a smile! It all started with a victory at the Le Castellet 6 Hours, then a podium finish at the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the 6 Hours of Donington. Leaders of the European Le Mans Series, Thiriet and Mathias Beche had pressure before this last round, shared with the American Le Mans Series. Thiriet by TDS Racing managed to avoid problems in a race marked by numerous yellow flags. Under the chequered flag, the trio Thiriet / Beche / Tinseau were third in LM P2, and were the first competitors of European Le Mans Series and fourth overall in the Petit Le Mans, clinching the title!

"Congratulations to Thiriet by TDS Racing and its drivers have perfectly managed the final", said Hugues de Chaunac, President of Oreca Group. "The whole team has done a great race, in the image of his season for this title. It is a reward and we are proud to be alongside Thiriet by TDS Racing since their beginnings in the discipline. "Also engaged in LMP2 Petit Le Mans Prototypes Murphy was the fourth fastest time in qualifying. The Irish team moved up in the top three in the opening minutes and led by Jody Firth and Warren Hughes Hartley, she was still in third place during the ninth hour. Become the victim of an electrical problem, the Oreca # 118 eventually finished sixth in its class. "Prototypes Murphy was also very good. "I congratulate the team, which has always been among the fastest in its first year in LM P2, adds de Chaunac. For the Oreca 03 is again a very nice weekend. One week after week before Fuji and Shanghai where ADR-Delta, Pecom Racing Signatech-Nissan will compete ... "
