Photo of the Day - Corvette wins its class at the 2015 24 Hours of Le Mans

On October 26, 1881 took place the shootout at the OK Corral after which the legendary Wyatt Earp and his brothers gained control of Tombstone, Arizona and the surrounding area. On June 14, 2015, Chevrolet won in the LM GTE Pro class with a Corvette whose owners get together every year at Le Mans for the Corvette Corral in pure American tradition.

The Corral, a word also used for livestock like at Tombstone, and for cars, is an institution for American endurance cars like at the 12 Hours of Sebring and Petit Le Mans. With an advance reserve ticket, owners namely of Porsches and Corvettes are able to park their cars in a car park exclusively reserved for them in the heart of the circuit, but careful, the drivers are directed to respect a certain harmony!
