Pininfarina and Le Mans in pride of place at Ferrari

At Maranello, Ferrari pays homage to Sergio Pininfarina who died on thr 3rd of July. More than twenty models, some of which have raced at Le Mans, are on show until January 7.

At the end of 2012, the Museum of Maranello pays tribute to the famous Sergio Pininfarina who died this summer at the age of 85. His link with Ferrari dates back almost to the origin of the Prancing Horse brand. An association that gave rise to some of the most beautiful shapes in automotive history, such as the Daytona, Testarossa and F40.

Ferrari-Pininfarina was also a winning combination in major world sporting events. The exhibition traces the epic saga with among others, the 250 MM Berlinetta, the 375 MM and the spectacular BB Le Mans.

Finally, note that the Italian motorsport is honoured until the end of the year at Motovillage in the Champs-Elysées Paris where endurance racing is proudly represented by an Alfa Romeo Tipo 33 and a Maserati MC12.
