Porsche will give the hybrid version of its 911 GT3 R an outing at the penultimate round of the American Le Mans Series at Laguna Seca.
We have to wait until 2014 for the return of the manufacturer at the 24 Hours of Le Mans with a prototype, but the German technicians continue to deepen their knowledge of hybridization in the GT "laboratory" car. Already seen last year in the Intercontinental Le Mans Cup (Road Atlanta and Zhuhai), this time the car will be assigned to Romain Dumas and Richard Lietz.
Romain Dumas: "I am eager to demonstrate the capabilities of this car that is very special to the audience in California. Laguna Seca is one of the most demanding circuits in the world. The series of ups and downs should be well suited to the 911 GT3 R Hybrid."
Visit U.S. on 17th of September!
