Revealed on Monday, the timetable for the Le Mans Intercontinental Cup  provoked many reactions among competitors.

Jean Alesi (driver - AF Corse - Ferrari): "Going to Imola is very good for the series. It is a mecca for racing, which has hosted numerous Grand Prix. I have many good memories there, even though we've also seen the worst with the death of Ayrton Senna. The circuit is superb, very enjoyable and challenging for the drivers. "

Francois Sicard (Oak Racing Team Manager): "It's a very good schedule. Le Mans, Sebring, Silverstone ... It incorporates all the finest endurance races in the world! We are very pleased that a test is planned in Italy, a country that interests our partners. In addition, Imola is a very beautiful track. The summer break is another reason for satisfaction. It facilitates the management of the team, and is appropriate for gentlemen drivers on several teams that should count. It remains only to define what the Chinese destination will be ... We cross our fingers that this is Shanghai! "

Jack Leconte (owner of Larbre Competition): "The rise of ILMC is confirmed. The presence of the 24 Hours of Le Mans in this calendar was essential for us. It is a good initiative that organizers to double the scoring at Le Mans. Maybe he would have been interesting to apply a special coefficient at the 12 Hours of Sebring and Petit Le Mans? We think it makes sense to go racing in Italy since the country is represented by Ferrari in GT2. Similarly, a round in Germany might be of interest for Audi, Porsche and BMW. We commit our new Corvette ILMC, including on the sleeves where we will support American car plants. "

Cecile Estenave (Press Secretary of Peugeot Sport): "The return of Italy to the calendar is a nice surprise. This country is an important market for Peugeot. Too bad there are several dates with interference rounds of the World Rally Championship and Formula 1 Grand Prix. The test day is scheduled early enough in the 24 Hours of Le Mans so we can learn from and work. The choice of doubling the points earned at Le Mans seems logical and fair. "

Benoit Morand (co-owner of Hope PoleVision): "This calendar is a nice surprise! Run again in Italy on the beautiful circuit of Imola is a plus. The presence of the Petit Le Mans is a good confirmation. Double points for the 24 hours is a double edged sword! But in 2011 our only ambition is to finish... we'll see. The return of the test day is fine, especially for private teams. Bravo to the organizers, this calendar is good in my opinion. China remains where I think it would be nice to continue the work begun in Zhuhai. "

Battisto Pregliasco ( AF Corse engineer ) : "I think that the calendar is really interesting and for the AF Corse team is very important to have a round in Italy. Imola is a very nice track and we are glad to come back with an
international race on this circuit. All the others rounds are hosted in fabulous track; the only problem is caused from the Portuguese and Road Atlanta race that will oblige some teams to make a difficult choice between the LMS and the ILMC championship; is impossible to participate to both races. "

Olivier Pla (ASM driver - Ginetta Zytek): "I raced in GP2 at the circuit of Imola and I really liked at the time. Since then, the final chicane was removed, and it can take more speed into the pit straight. The route is hilly and technical applying the brakes a lot. ILMC off, the Le Mans Series will continue to come to Portugal which is very good for my team based in Lisbon. "
