The 2021 Asian Le Mans Series will now begin with two races staged at Dubai Autodrome on 13-14 February, one week later than initially scheduled. The final two races will take place, as planned, at the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi on 19-20 February.

To fulfil the organisers’ primary objective of delivering a safe and successful Asian Le Mans Series in 2021, rapid action had to be taken in response to changing worldwide travel restrictions. This alternative schedule will begin a week later than initially anticipated and will allow the teams to observe a ten-day quarantine period in Dubai while contesting the first two races of the season. The field will then move on to Abu Dhabi for the final two races, as planned.
The provisional entry list for the 2021 Asian Le Mans Series features 38 cars across the three classes: seven in LMP2, ten in LMP3 and 21 in GT.
