As part of a double race weekend shared with the Grand Am series, the American Le Mans Series qualifying (ALMS) saw the Honda HPD of Muscle Milk Pickett Racing take pole position.

Leaders of the American Le Mans Series 2013, Honda's Klaus Graf and Lucas Luhr will share the front row with the Lola-Mazda of Dyson Racing, while the DeltaWing driven by Andy Meyrick and Katherine Legge is fifth. In LM P2, the Hondas of Level 5 Motorsports and Extreme Speed ​​Motorsports set the two fastest times, which promises a close race. The second car of Level 5 Motorsports, driven by Simon Pagenaud will start from third place in the class.

In GT, the Viper confirmed the competitiveness it has shown since the start of the season, with the pole position for Bomarito-Wittmer, ahead of another great American: the factory Corvette of Jan Magnussen and Antonio Garcia. Patrick Long, team mate Patrick Dempsey at the 24 Hours of Le Mans is racing a Porsche 911 GT in both races of the weekend: he qualified third in class in Grand Am, and eighth in the American Le Mans Series.

French Motors TV will broadcast Grand Am on Saturday 10th August à from 23:00 French time, and the American Le Mans Series on Sunday the 11th from 20:45.
