After being on the podium six times in the American Le Mans Series (ALMS), Rahal Letterman Racing has finally given the Bavarian manufacturer its first win of 2010 in Wisconsin.

In this seventh race of 2010, Joey Hand and Dirk Müller Jörg Bergmeister finished ahead of Patrick Long (Porsche GT3 RSR Flying Lizard 911 Motorsports) and Olivier Beretta / Oliver Gavin (Corvette). But the race of their teammates Bill Auberlen and Tommy Milner ended after only twenty minutes in the fastest portion of the circuit where Auberlen left the track, struck from behind.

Tommy Milner was therefore unfortunately unable to drive, but success of their team mates puts BMW into the lead of the Constructors' Championship standings of the GT class.
