Rubens Barrichello and Jan Lammers have finalized their program for the ELMS and Le Mans

Yesterday, Racing Team Nederland - set to enter a Dallara P217 in the European Le Mans Series and 24 Hours of Le Mans - live-streamed its 2017 program on its official Facebook page. Present were drivers Jan Lammers and Frits van Eerd, as well as Rubens Barrichello (only at Le Mans) via video from his home in Florida.

The Racing Team Nederland team was created last fall by Jan Lammers, winner at the 1998 24 Hours of Le Mans with Jaguar, to enter a Dallara P217 in the European Le Mans Series and Le Mans. The Dutch driver, who has no intention of stopping after 22 participations in the 24 Hours (read the interview: first part and second part), will share the wheel with Frits van Eerd, owner of the Dutch supermarket chain Jumbo, the team's main sponsor, and Rubens Barrichello at Le Mans who holds the record for most Formula 1 Grand Prix (323).

Though the Brazilian driver did not take part in the first rainy testing session at Magny-Cours in early November, he caught up at the Sebring circuit the following month, closer to his homebase in Florida. That is where he was video-conferenced in for the announcement and where he is training on a simulator to familiarize himself with the 24 Hours of Le Mans circuit in preparation for the 85th edition on June 17th and 18th.
