The Danish driver will be behind the wheel of a Lister-Jaguar coupé that raced at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1963. He’ll be looking for a second win in the RAC Tourist Trophy Celebration Race to add to his 2011 victory in a Cobra Daytona. For Kristensen, Goodwood will also be an opportunity to meet up with five-time Le Mans winner Emanuele Pirro, his old Audi team-mate. Together with Frank Biela, they won the prestigious 24-Hour race three years in succession (2000, 2001 and 2002).
The other four former winners attending are all regular faces at Goodwood Revival, the UK’s great annual celebration of historic racing cars: Jackie Oliver, Andy Wallace, Jochen Mass and Mark Blundell who claimed the Le Mans title in 1969, 1988, 1989 and 1992 respectively. The six drivers therefore share no fewer than 18 Le Mans 24-Hour wins between them!
