Six lives saved thanks to Justin Wilson

Deceased on Monday after getting hit by debris this weekend at Pocono in Pennsylvania, IndyCar Series drive Justin Wilson has saved six lives by donating his organs, his brother Stefan, himself a driver, has announced on his Twitter account.

An organ donor, Justin Wilson supported the Racing for Kids association and had just visited hospitalized children on Friday, two days before a race he was looking forward to doing.

In a press release, Justin Wilson's family asked that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to a fund that has been created to help the British driver's two little girls, Jane and Jessica. Send donations to the Wilson Children's Fund, c/o INDYCAR, 4551 W. 16th St., Indianapolis, IN 46222.

A sticker paying tribute to Justin, nicknamed "Badass," has been designed. Though he never let up on the track, Justin Wilson was actually one of the nicest people ever when he wasn't behind the wheel. His only flaw? His tall height, which had closed many doors on him in his career.
