TF Sport (Aston Martin) to participate in the WEC, and 2018 and 2019 24 Hours of Le Mans

TF Sport intends to field its Aston Martin Vantage in the LMGTE Am class of the 2018/2019 Super Season of the World Endurance Championship (FIA WEC). If selected, the team will compete in the next two editions of the 24 Hours of Le Mans!

TF Sport was formed in 2014 and has steadily climbed the rungs one by one. After a freshman year in the Blancpain Endurance Cup, the British team moved on to the Michelin Le Mans Cup (which it won in 2016) then the European Le Mans Series in 2017, finishing second in the LMGTE class trailing the champion by just two points (one win at the 4 Hours of Silverstone)! Last June, the outfit took its first steps on the international stage at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. With a driver line-up composed of Salih Yoluc, Euan Hankey and Rob Bell, the #90 Aston Martin Vantage finished in seventh place in LMGTE Am. Salih Yoluc is the first Turkish driver to participate in the 24 Hours of Le Mans!

In 2018, TF Sport is looking to take part in the 2018/2019 Super Season of the World Endurance Championship (FIA WEC) if the team is approved by the Selection Committee. It will field an Aston Martin Vantage, supported by the factory, in the LMGTE Am class. Salih Yoluc and Euan Hankey are set to take the wheel once again, this time joined by Charlie Eastwood, a young Irish hopeful who just won the Porsche Carrera Cup U.K. TF Sport will also take the start at the next two editions of the 24 Hours of Le Mans scheduled for June 16-17, 2018 and June 15-16, 2019.

Salih Yoluc: "As a team, it is very exciting for all of us to be on the very highest stage of sports car racing. I'm really looking forward to exciting races and of course our first WEC win! We've been quite unlucky in ELMS this year in so many ways, but I hope we were just suffering a little to make the future victories even sweeter, with a change in fortune. Being able to fight to be a world champion and also a 24 Hours of Le Mans winner is something very special and we'll do our best and make sure we enjoy the journey."
