The 2022 24 Hours of Le Mans Scrutineering Schedule

With just 24 days to go to the 90th 24 Hours of Le Mans, the running order for Scrutineering on 3-4 June has been announced. Read on to find out when exactly your favourite team will be called up for technical and administrative checking at Place de la République in central Le Mans.

Most often referred to as “Scrutineering”, the administrative and technical checks required for the 2022 24 Hours of Le Mans will take place at their traditional venue in the city’s main square, Place de la République, from 10am onwards on 3 and 4 June.

Scrutineering has always been one of the Race Week highlights and gives fans, locals and passers-by the chance to admire the cars close-up and have a chat with the drivers.

There will be 62 cars and 186 drivers present for the checking procedures: 5 Hypercars, 27 LMP2s, 7 LMGTE Pro and 23 LMGTE Am cars. They will all roll into the town centre for Scrutineering before returning to the circuit for Test Day on Sunday 5 June.
39 cars will be inspected on Friday 3 June. The Kessel Racing #57 Ferrari 488 GTE Evo, an entry in the LMGTE Am class, will kick off proceedings at 10am. Among other attractions, the fans in attendance on the first day will see the Chevrolet Corvette C8.R fielded by Corvette Racing, the Northwest AMR Aston Martin Vantage AMR and the Alpine Elf Team #36 Alpine A480-Gibson, one of the five hypercars on this year’s grid. The next day will feature the two Glickenhaus 007 LMHs from Glickenhaus Racing and the two Toyota GR010 Hybrid hypercars from Toyota Gazoo Racing. The #91 and #92 Porsche 911 RSR-19s from the Porsche GT Team will bring this year’s Scrutineering to a close on Saturday afternoon.
