The 2012 Paris Motor Show, which opened its doors Saturday the 29th of September 29, has numerous prototypes of the 24 Hours of Le Mans on display. Among them, the Nissan DeltaWing, that, a few days ago, was on the Road Atlanta circuit, which you can see in the video above (commentary in English) For more clips go to www.lemans-tv.com

The opening of the Paris also coincided with the 6 Hours of Bahrain, the sixth round of the FIA World Endurance Championship. While the balance between fossil fuel engines and new technologies is more than ever on the agenda, the group of prototypes respond to the concerns of the current automotive market.

Hall 4: Audi and Toyota face to face again. The battle raged last weekend on the circuit in Bahrain, the two main protagonists of the WEC are together for two weeks in Hall 4. The Audi e-tron quattro R18, installed overhead, dominates the road cars below, while the Toyota TS030 Hybrid is presented in two versions: the prototype seen at the 24 Hours in 2012 and a stripped version which reveals the hybrid system.

Hall 1: Nissan has two variations. Perched on a mezzanine stand of the Japanese manufacturer, two prototypes face each other: the French team Signatech Oreca-Nissan of Tresson-Mailleux-Lombard and the Nissan DeltaWing that, after its cameo appearance in the 56th pit of the 24 Hours of Le Mans (dedicated to new technology cars), will make its return to the track on the 20th of October in the United States, as part of the 15th annual Petit Le Mans.

Hall 2: Le Mans of the future. This pavilion houses the GreenGT H2 hydrogen, which in 2013 will replace the Nissan DeltaWing in the 56th pit, and the Bailey LM P2, which aims next year to be the first prototype built in a developing country (in the case of South Africa) to race in the 24 Hours. Also present is Formula Le Mans, popular with young drivers starting out in endurance racing.

Hall 5: A French team and its partner. On the stand of the watchmaker BRM partner of OAK Racing, there is also a Morgan LMP2 sold by Onroak Automotive, the organisation marketing this prototype.
