The Classic British Welcome of the 2015 24 Hours of Le Mans (video)

Every year since 2001, on the Friday before the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Saint Saturnin, a village of 2,300 inhabitants northwest of Le Mans, hosts the Classic British Welcome which gathers some 1,000 classic cars. This year's theme was MG, with Tom Kristensen as guest of honour.

Choosing MG (Morris Garages) for 2015 is explained by the fact the British constructor clinched a class win in 1935 thanks to the duo Philippe Maillard-Brune and Charles Druck, all while entering three entirely female driver line-ups. More recently, between 2001 and 2006, MG Lola chassis have been at the start of the 24 Hours of Le Mans with, namely, the Brit Jonny Kane who was at the start this year with Strakka Racing and who won the LM P2 class in 2010.
