The “Dunlop Future Race Car Challenge” enters final phase

The most victorious tyre manufacturer in the history of the 24 Hours of Le Mans announces race car designer to brings the final design of

As part of the ‘Dunlop Future Race Car Challenge’, Dunlop has been gathering the opinions of industry experts and fans about what the future holds for racing cars and motorsports, and has looked into the future of powertrains, aerodynamics, brakes and tyres, and inspired fans. Now that all the sketches and designs have been submitted, Dunlop has enlisted the help of renowned race car designer Sergio Rinland, who has already begun combining all the ideas to provide his own educated vision in a professional sketch.

Born in 1952, Sergio Rinland has a long and illustrious history in motorsports, having worked with several racing teams including Williams, Brabham, Sauber and Benetton, as well as Modena Team in the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the Le Mans Series in 2006 and 2007. Dunlop will be revealing Sergio Rinland’s finished design on the 31st July, along with a short film about the development of the race car of the future.
