When we talk about aerodynamics, we often think of the visible part of the bodywork such as the wings or sides. But in reality, a large part of the aero work is done under the car!

Although the "shark fin" on many racing cars currently is impressive, it's due more to safety issues than trying to improve the aerodynamics. Actually, as Jeff Braun, engineer for the American Le Mans Series P2 class champions Level 5 Motorsports, explains it's underneath the car where the action happens. Check it out in the video !
