The podium ceremony for the young winners of the 24 Hours of Le Mans

The podium ceremony was once again high in emotion after the 83rd edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

The level of emotion can sometimes be even greater with unexpected winners. And for whom it has yet to sink in that they in fact won!

Earl Bamber, Nico Hülkenberg and Nick Tandy seemed a bit like lost kids when they found themselves alone, with their No. 19 Porsche, at the foot of the podium and the focus of all the attention.

Not entirely aware of what they had just accomplished, noticeably worn out, you could still see the joy in their eyes. Almost astonished to be there, they were glancing all over the place.

The three drivers make up the youngest and least experienced driver line-up of the Porsche team in the LM P1 919 Hybrid. Only Tandy has two participations at Le Mans (in GT) and Bamber and Hülkenberg are newcomers.

When the Porsche driver line-up appeared on the podium, the crowd gave them a huge ovation. Supporters chanted and applauded. Nick Tandy soaked in the moment in front of the podium and the crowd, taking in the festive atmosphere.

The three drivers also enjoyed the extraordinary moment between themselves and their loved ones gathered at the foot of the podium...awash in the newness of their first win at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
