This year the Le Mans 24 Hours will more than ever be at the centre of the social networks.
On Monday evening a first will take place at Le Mans : a Facebook evening devoted to the fans of the official Le Mans 24-Hours page who will number over 300 000 this week. The 45 privileged guests who will take part in it were invited via the network. They will have dinner and will meet some of the major players in the event like Daniel Poissenot, the Clerk of the Course, the official commentators, Fabrice Bourrigaud ACO Pole Esprit Le Mans manager, Hervé Guyomard, the historian of the race and the Rebellion Racing drivers Dominik Krahaimer and Fabio Leimer.
A fun evening which won’t be the last!.
On the main social networks the ACO is multiplying its efforts for the benefit of the Le Mans 24 Hours.
On the official French and English Twitter accounts @24heuresdumans, @24hoursoflemans, @24heures_Live et @24hours_Live fans can live the practice sessions and the race behind the scenes.
A 2014 innovation: you will receive answers to your questions about the people taking part in the race.
Our special envoys will carry out interviews, which will then be broadcast on the WebTV (www.24h-lemans.com). The WebTV hosts will also answer the tweets sent by the followers.
Some quick chats will be organised with some of the big stars at Le Mans: Mark Webber, Patrick Dempsey, Allan McNish, etc. Ask your questions on Facebook and Tweeter.
This unique interactive facility is completed by the Instagram 24heuresdumans account, on which photos and short videos live from the different events will be posted.
