The presentation of the two Oreca 07s' new colors took place in Brussels, Belgium as part of the press conference for the WEC 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps, second round of the 2017 World Endurance Championship (FIA WEC) season and final rehearsal before the 24 Hours of Le Mans on June 17th and 18th.

Just prior to that on June 2nd, the new opus "Rébellion" of the comic book "Michel Vaillant" (Graton Editions) will be released. It includes a remarkable tribute via the inscription "Vaillante" on the rear spoiler and on both sides of the cockpit of the #13 and #31 Orecas. The logo, a V in the blue, white and red of the hero's team, also appears on the flanks and nose of the two cars. The 2016 Rebellion R-One LMP1 has been decorated in the same manner to serve as a show car on display in the paddock at the WEC 6 Heures de Spa-Francorchamps (the start will be give on Saturday, May 6th).

With several successful years as a private team in the LMP1 class, Rebellion Racing is making its return to LMP2 this year with two cars, one for Mathias Beche-Nelson Piquet, Jr.-David Heinemeier Hansson, winners in the LMGTE Am class with Aston Martin at the 2014 24 Hours of Le Mans and second in LMP2 in 2013, and the other, which finished second in the class at the 6 Hours of Silverstone on April 16th, will be driven by Nicolas Prost-Bruno Senna-Julien Canal. Canal has won two class victories at the 24 Hours of Le Mans as well as the trophy for best LMP2 driver in the 2015 World Endurance Championship (FIA WEC).
