Tribute to the victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans for the Ford GT '67 Heritage

On the heels of the Ford GT '66 Heritage released this year in celebration of the first of the American manufacturer's four consecutive wins at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, here is the Ford GT '67 Heritage, a limited series release a lucky few may take possession of in 2018.

For now, Ford has not confirmed the number of units nor the price tag (the regular version will be available for 400,000 euros and up) of the red Ford GT designed as a tribute to Dan Gurney and A.J. Foyt's win with the GT40 Mark IV sporting the #1 at the 35th edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, nicknamed the race of the century.

Just like the 2017 version of the Ford GT Heritage, which sold in no time, the '67 comes with unique and exclusive equipment. There is no doubt auto collectors will rush to make one their very own, despite the fact this year Ford was unable to repeat its exploit from the 2016 24 Hours of Le Mans - three GTs in the top four places - and had to settle for the second step on the podium.

If you can't quite come up with the asking price for the Ford GT '67 Heritage, on display this week at Monterey Car Week in California, you can always enjoy configuring the car of your dreams at the Ford website, free of charge…
