
After thirteen years away from endurance racing, Toyota made their return by participating in the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2012, followed by the remaining five rounds of the FIA World Endurance Championship 2012.
On Sunday the 14th of April, the opening round of the 2013 World Championship will be at the Silverstone circuit. Toyota will participate in the six Hours of Silverstone with two experienced driver crews. Three time winners in 2012, Alexander Wurz and Nicolas Lapierre will drive the TS030 Hybrid No.7. Anthony Davidson, Stéphane Sarrazin and Sebastien Buemi, who drove the second Toyota at the 24 Hours of Le Mans last year, will be back behind the wheel of the No.8 TS030.
In the 90th anniversary year of the 24 Hours of Le Mans (22nd and 23rd June), in this video the Toyota team look back on their performance in 2012 and look forward to the 2013 endurance season. Commentary in English
