Present in La Sarthe since the first edition in 1923 with the second place finish, the British manufacturer had its first success in La Sarthe the following year. In 1929 and 1930, the Bentley Speed Six scored the fourth and fifth Le Mans victories for the marque. Introduced in 1928, it was a sportier evolution of the 6 1/2 liters. A situation repeated today by the Continental GT Speed Convertible, which offers 50 hp more than the coupe!
