Vincent Cerutti, one of the voices of the 24 Hours of Le Mans next to Bruno Vandestick, will be at the start of the 2013 Tour Auto, that will be held between the 22nd and 27th April.

Born in Le Mans, the presenter of the French version of "Dancing with the Stars" on TF1 grew up within earshot of the sound of the 24 hours, which he attended from a young age. Having started as a radio host, he also became a commentator of the 24 hours, he also commentated annually on Eurosport. He lives up to his motto: “be at the heart of the action” with his role as pit reporter, bringing information and reactions of the competitors live to over two hundred thousand spectators.

In April 2013, Vincent Cerutti will participate in his first Tour Auto Optic 2ooo. He will drive a 1971 Ligier JS2 entered in the Regularity class. The French sports coupé was created by Guy Ligier and raced in the Tour de France Automobile in 1974 with Gérard Larrousse, Jean-Pierre Nicolas and Johnny Rives. The following year, Jean-Louis Lafosse and Guy Chasseuil took the JS2 to second place in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. This car was also driven by the great names of French motorsport such as Henri Pescarolo, Jean-Pierre Beltoise, Jean-Pierre Jarier Bernard Darniche and Jacques Laffite ... at a time when Vincent Cerutti was not yet born!

Vincent Cerutti: "The Tour Auto is a clear necessity for me! Automotive passion, excitement paddocks, sportsmanship and proximity to the public in every city make it a very exciting event! More than 2000 miles through France, I can not wait ... thank you to Patrick Peter and his team who have thought of me to take part in this adventure of discovery and fun! I will post regular 'backstage' photos on my official twitter www.twitter.com/ceruttiofficiel."

2013 The Tour Auto starts at the Grand Palais (Paris) on the 22nd of April and will end on the 27th in La Rochelle, after passing through Orleans, Vichy, Albi and Limoges.
