Porsche reshuffles lineups for 2025

After a starting grid ceremony and a formation lap led by the LMPH2G of MissionH24 driven by four-time 24 Hours winner Yannick Dalmas, the 50 competitors in the 2022 Virtual 24 Hours kicked off the race in mild weather.
Immediately Team Redline's #123 ORECA driven by 2021 F1 world champion Max Verstappen grabbed the lead and quickly carved out a sizable gap from Mercedes-AMG Petronas Esports' #67 ORECA. In GTE, the #91 Porsche 911 RSR GTE fielded by Porsche Esports Team got the jump on Red Bull Racing Esports' #111 Corvette C8.R.
After the first race hour, Team Redline's #123 ORECA was in the top spot with driver Max Verstappen holding a 3.5-second lead on the Veloce Esports team's #28 ORECA driven by James Baldwin, and Mercedes-AMG Petronas Esports' #67 ORECA is currently in third position. Team WRT SIMTAG Esports' #31 ORECA left the track during the first hour and is now in 46th place overall.
In the GTE class, the #91 Porsche 911 RSR GTE is trailed by the Team Redline's #71 BMW M8 GTE by only one half a second.
The fastest in race lap so far was clocked by Max Verstappen in 3:23.865.
